For off-grid or grid-tied operation, the Outback Power FXR2024E is a 2kW (2000 watt) single-phase, hybrid inverter/charger. The FXR2024E delivers 230Vac sine wave output in 24Vdc with an operating efficiency up to 92%. Engineered to operate in the harshest environmental conditions, the Outback Power FXR inverter/charger has a sealed NEMA type 1 die-cast aluminum chassis design. For increased power output, multiple units can be stacked and connected with other OutBack Power electronics for the ability to function in a wide variety of applications, and system sizes. Up to nine inverters can be combined in a three-phase system with 24V models, and up to 10 inverters in grid-tied. The FXR inverter/chargers have seven different operating modes, with generator assist. The GridZero operating mode minimizes grid dependence in areas where incentives are changing and utility sellback is limited. Pair with a MATE3 to add OPTICS RE to monitor and control system performance from any location. The OutBack FX series is a modular “building block” sine wave inverter/charger that can be used for both small and large power systems. Each FX inverter/charger is a complete power conversion system – DC to AC inverter, battery charger and AC transfer switch. The FX series is also available in a version with 230 VAC, 50 hz output that can be connected in parallel (230 VAC) or in three phase (230Y400 VAC) configurations. Our unique sealed, gasketed die-cast aluminum chassis protects and keeps the power conversion components cool – without requiring outside air to be blown through the sensitive electronics. The FX can be used in high ambient applications up to 60°C with reduced output ratings. It is designed to operate as a coordinated system with the other OutBack products.
